Leadership

Confidence and self-esteem

In Intro Drama, we actively encourage students to step out of their comfort zone, be brave and take leadership opportunities. In every activity, we train students to take initiatives such as raising their hands and shouting out their ideas, so that they can practise being a leader in class. We believe that leadership skills can help kids work better in teamwork and become more confident in taking actions in the future.

It is without a doubt that drama is one of the best classes a child can take to become more confident and increase their self-esteem through role-playing and teamwork and performances. Through a series of kinesthetic activities, students are actively engaging their body, voice and emotions in every class. Students build confidence through rehearsing how to speak loudly, move their body as well as re-enacting unfamiliar emotions. They are also challenged to perform in front of a big crowd on stage in the final showcase which helps them get out of the comfort zone and become more brave.

Anchor 1

Stage Performance
